Journey Designer

PRODUCT · REMOTE (UK/EU TIME ZONES) · FULL-TIME · 3-6 YEARS

Design and refine SOAR's multi-day journeys, from first pacing sketch through to the operational detail that keeps a trip running well on the ground. You'll work closely with our destination specialists and field guides to build itineraries that hold up under real weather, real roads, and real group dynamics.

What you would do

  • Design new journey itineraries from initial concept through to a bookable route
  • Work with in-destination guides and operators to pressure-test pacing and logistics
  • Write the descriptive copy that becomes each journey's public listing
  • Review guest feedback after each departure and revise itineraries accordingly
  • Maintain relationships with accommodation and transport partners in assigned regions

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years designing or operating small-group travel itineraries
  • First-hand travel experience in at least two of SOAR's current destination regions
  • Strong written English and comfort writing for a specific editorial voice
  • Comfortable working across time zones with destination-based guides
  • Willingness to travel for on-the-ground scouting, 6-8 weeks a year
