Timed, not scheduled
Kyoto runs in the two weeks the maples turn. The Mara runs to the river crossings. We would rather cancel a departure than run it in the wrong month.

Fourteen people at most
Every journey caps between six and fourteen. It is the difference between a table booking and a coach party, and it decides where you can stay.

Not tour managers flown in for the season. People whose answer to a question about the place is longer than the question.
